A24\u2019s \u201cBackrooms\u201d movie<\/a> is scary enough, but a FOX11 LA anchor\u2019s not-suitable-for-work mistake could be\u2026darker.<\/p>\n

He thought the movie was titled \u201cBackdoor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anchor Bob DeCastro joked on the Friday morning show <\/a>that he was looking up the movie and put in the mistaken title.<\/p>\n

Anchor Bob DeCastro joked Friday morning that he though the movie was titled \u201cBackdoor.\u201d FOX Local<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a whole different genre,\u201d entertainment anchor Amanda Salas cheekily said. \u201cWhole different movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Salas tried to move on, but the anchors couldn\u2019t help but laugh.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe back door!\u201d DeCastro joked, breaking into laughter again. The anchor tried to joke about the issue more, but an embarrassed co-anchor, Jennifer Lahmers, put her hand up to quiet him.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood morning,\u201d she interrupted to tell interviewers as they shifted to the traffic report, \u201chow are you?\u201d<\/p>\n

Lahmers posted the clip on Instagram.<\/p>\n

A24\u2019s \u201cBackrooms\u201d opened on Friday to rave reviews, garnering 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. A24 via AP<\/p>\n

Commenters had a field day with the mistake.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love how @jennlahmers<\/a> is trying hide when she\u2019s smack dab in the middle of it,\u201d another person said.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove the new Backdoor movie,\u201d a third joked.<\/p>\n

\u201cBackrooms\u201d opened on Friday to rave reviews<\/a>, garnering an 89% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics and 74% from its audience. The movie is outpacing expectations, on its way to an opening between\u00a0$85 million and $88 million, according to Deadline.<\/p>\n

The movie stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve and is directed by Kane Parsons,<\/p>\n

A New York Post review <\/a>said the movie is \u201ca disquieting and smart new horror film\u201d that \u201cis the brainchild of 4chan and YouTube users.\u201d<\/p>\n

The movie is based on a web series that explored fears of getting caught in an endless loop of ever-changing rooms.<\/p>\n
