The <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.golfchannel.com\/pga-tour\/2026\/the-memorial-tournament-presented-by-workday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Memorial Tournament<\/a> is an annual, late spring tradition, and brings another incredibly deep field to central Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>Scottie Scheffler is looking for a three-peat after <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.golfchannel.com\/news\/scottie-scheffler-joins-tiger-woods-as-only-repeat-winners-at-memorial-tournament\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">successfully defending his title<\/a> last year with four-stroke victory. He joined Tiger Woods as the only players to repeat as champions at Jack Nicklaus\u2019 tournament. Woods also hit the trifecta, winning in 1999-2001.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Stricker is the most recent player to win the same PGA Tour event three times, capturing the John Deere Classic in 2009-11.<\/p>\n<p>World No. 2 Rory McIlroy is also in the field. It\u2019s the first signature event that has featured both McIlroy and Scheffler since the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.
