Darren Till survived an early scare in his bare-knuckle debut and then delivered a devastating one-punch knockout to finish Aaron Chalmers in the BKFC 90 co-main event.<\/p>\n
In a sport known for having a lot of frantic movement, Till had to settle down after Chalmers clipped him with a solid left hand early that put the veteran UFC fighter down on one knee. But Till was undeterred and came out ready to fight at the start of round two.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s when Till uncorked a hellacious left hand of his own that absolutely blasted Chalmers and he slumped down to the canvas as the referee started his 10 count. Chalmers was obviously hurt badly by the punch and it was clear he wasn\u2019t getting up again with the referee calling a stop to the contest just 22 seconds into the second round.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was f*cking made for this shit,\u201d Till shouted after his win. \u201cI\u2019m built for it. I was like I can\u2019t let this little c*nt get this on me. That first round was his and now start letting my hands go.<\/p>\n
\u201c[I want to fight] f*cking everyone! I don\u2019t care. I\u2019m not scared of anyone!\u201d<\/p>\n
Till balked at signing with BKFC for a few years but he eventually received an offer he couldn\u2019t refuse and now he\u2019s made quite an impact in his debut.<\/p>\n
Before he landed the knockout shot, Till did deal with some adversity from Chalmers, who held a 2-0 record in BKFC prior to Saturday\u2019s fight.<\/p>\n
A lot of early movement from Chalmers opened the fight with Till showing patience and stabbing back at him with a well-timed jab. But a moment later, Chalmers clipped Till with a stiff left hook that dropped the ex-UFC title challenger to the knee as he was given a mandatory standing eight count for the knockdown.<\/p>\n
In the second round, Till got payback as soon as the action got started.<\/p>\n
With Chalmers ducking and dodging, Till loaded up on his left hand and he uncorked a perfectly timed shot that landed clean. As soon as Chalmers fell to the canvas, it was pretty clear he wasn\u2019t getting back up again but the referee still gave him every opportunity to return to his feet.<\/p>\n
That didn\u2019t happen and the fight was stopped as Till celebrated his first win and first knockout in BKFC.<\/p>\n
