\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMiami Hurricanes quarterback commit Israel Abrams is currently spending his weekend out west in the state of California. Abrams is currently showing off his arm in the Elite 11 showcase, hosted in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
According to Rivals, the Hurricanes 6-foot-4, 190-pound quarterback was named a top performer on day two of the event, ranking Abrams the No. 3 quarterback.<\/p>\n

Israel Abrams finished third from a scoring standpoint but from an eyeball test, who threw the best ball, he would have pushed for No. 1. He completed the first 18 throws before missing his final two. He threw with pace, accuracy and zip. While a few other quarterbacks would essentially cheat and alter their mechanics, taking something off their throws in order to complete the pass, Abrams ripped everything. He moved well in and out of the pocket and was really impressive in everything he did on night two. \u2014 Rivals National analyst Greg Biggins<\/p>\n
He was seen in action during the event yesterday, showcasing his arm and his deep ball skills against the top quarterbacks in the country. Abrams was one of the most accurate quarterbacks during the event.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Rivals named Virginia Tech commit Peter Bourque the top performer during day two of the event. LSU commit Peyton Houston was named the No. 2 quarterback. On the other hand, 247Sports praised Abrams with the ‘Alpha Dog’ award from his performance yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
