IT\u2019S DEFINITELY BEEN A VERY HARD WEEKEND. HEATHER SIZEMORE SAYS WHEN SHE LEARNED THAT TWO CARROLL COUNTY DEPUTIES WERE SHOT, ONE FATALLY, SHE KNEW AS THE WIFE OF A DEPUTY HERSELF. SHE COULDN\u2019T JUST STAND BY. WELL, IT COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN ONE OF OUR HUSBANDS. I MEAN, MY HUSBAND WORKED THE NIGHT BEFORE THIS INCIDENT. MY HUSBAND WENT IN THE NIGHT OF THIS INCIDENT. ALL OF OUR HUSBANDS WENT IN. SO SHE LAUNCHED A MEAL TRAIN FOR THE FAMILY OF FALLEN DEPUTY, LOGAN UTT, AND HAD JUST THE SPAN OF 24 HOURS, MORE THAN 300 PEOPLE HAVE STEPPED UP TO HELP, PROVIDING MEALS FOR THE FAMILY THROUGH JULY AND RAISING MORE THAN $16,000 TO HELP THE FAMILY. SHE SAYS THE DEPUTIES THAT SHE AND OTHER WOMEN ARE MARRIED TO AREN\u2019T JUST COWORKERS, THEY ARE BROTHERS. AND SO WE LOST A FAMILY MEMBER, EVEN THOUGH THE WIVES ARE ALWAYS BUSY ON THE DAY TO DAY LIVES AND WE DON\u2019T GET TOGETHER LIKE WE SHOULD, WE STILL SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER.
