Jannik Sinner is the second player to qualify for the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals.

Jannik Sinner<\/a> has qualified for the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals<\/a>, joining his rival Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> at the season finale in Turin.<\/p>\n The No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings will return to his home country to defend his year-end championships title, which he claimed in 2024 without dropping a set. The Nitto ATP Finals<\/a> will take place at Inalpi Arena from 9-16 November.<\/p>\n Sinner will compete in the event for the third consecutive season and the fourth time overall. He owns a 10-2 record at the tournament according to the Infosys ATP Win\/Loss Index and in the past two editions has only fallen to Novak Djokovic<\/a> (in the 2023 final).<\/p>\n The Italian has enjoyed another standout year, lifting two major trophies for the second straight season and reaching an ATP Masters 1000 final in Rome. Sinner successfully defended his crown at the Australian Open<\/a> and emerged victorious at Wimbledon<\/a> for the first time. The World No. 1 also held three championship points in the Roland Garros<\/a> final before suffering a heartbreaking defeat to Alcaraz.<\/p>\n The 23-year-old, the only player who has been No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings this season, has held top spot for 60 consecutive weeks dating back to his ascension last June. Sinner will battle Alcaraz for ATP Year-End No. 1 presented by PIF honours in a race that appears set to go down to the wire.<\/p>\n Sinner made his Nitto ATP Finals<\/a> debut in 2021 as an alternate, when he replaced countryman Matteo Berrettini<\/a>, pushed Daniil Medvedev<\/a> to a final-set tie-break and defeated Hubert Hurkacz<\/a>.
