Alright, show of hands \u2013 who here thought that Apple\u2019s first foldable will be a wide-style device, instead of the more common book-style of flip? Well, that is what Cupertino went for as you can see in the photo shared by Ice Universe on Weibo.<\/p>\n

This doesn\u2019t come out of the blue \u2013 we\u2019ve seen dummies<\/a> with this design and CAD schematics<\/a> that revealed the dimensions \u2013 120.6 mm tall and 167.6mm wide (unfolded). When folded, the device is expected to measure 9.23mm (well, 13mm with the camera island).<\/p>\n

This photo also shows off one of the two colors: Silver and Navy Blue<\/a>. That\u2019s right, there will be no fun colors<\/a> for Apple\u2019s first foldable. No third camera<\/a> either, though not much is known about the two camera modules that it will have.<\/p>\n

The Apple iPhone foldable is reportedly on track to launch this September<\/a> and it will very quickly catapult Apple into the Top 3<\/a> of foldable makers on the market. The iPhone Fold will be expensive, though, with an expected price of $2,000<\/a> and supplies may be limited at launch.<\/p>\n
