\n\tOn Monday night\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Daily Show<\/a>,\u201d Jon Stewart<\/a> poked fun at President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s Freedom 250<\/a> concert series after more than half the acts dropped out.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMan, I need good news. I need some relief. And I\u2019ll tell you why,\u201d Stewart said at the top of his monologue. \u201cBecause as many of you know, that big Freedom 250 concert that I\u2019ve been looking forward to\u2026 has run into some problems.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStewart then cut to a clip of NBC News, which reported that five of the nine musical artists slated to perform at Freedom 250 have dropped out, citing \u201cpolitical concerns.\u201d Those who exited the event include Martina McBride<\/a>, Young MC<\/a>, the Commodores<\/a>, Morris Day<\/a> and Bret Michaels<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe mass exodus of acts prompted Stewart to ask, \u201cIs anyone still performing?\u201d The answer came in the form of an enthusiastic TikTok from rapper Vanilla Ice, who exclaimed in his post, \u201cAmerica is turning 250! I\u2019m super honored to do this concert with everybody. We are gonna bring back the \u201890s.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere you go!\u201d Stewart exclaimed. \u201cSee? Everybody dropped out, but not Vanilla Ice. Vanilla Ice didn\u2019t drop out. He saw a problem, and yo, he solved it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Freedom 250 started falling apart, Trump took to Truth Social to declare he wanted to \u201ccancel it,\u201d although it wasn\u2019t clear if he was referring to the entire concert series or just the shows with the artists who backed out. He also took the opportunity to make digs at the \u201ccrooked judges\u201d who have ruled against him in his pursuit of control of the Kennedy Center.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCancel it,\u201d Trump wrote on Saturday<\/a> night, \u201cjust like I canceled my involvement with the failing and unsafe to be in Kennedy Center, because a Highly Conflicted, Crooked Federal Judge, said that I should not be allowed to spend my time and money in order to MAKE THE CENTER GREAT AGAIN, actually, far greater than it ever was before! It would have also been nice to see a Republican\/Democrat union bring it back to life. The Kennedy Center is broken, unsafe, and $busted, and has been for many years! Judge Cooper also stated that the highly prestigious Board of the Center was not authorized to add on the name \u2018TRUMP\u2019 despite the fact that hundreds of millions of dollars of my time and money will be necessary for its successful reincarnation. So now, the Kennedy Center will collapse, both structurally and financially. Judge Cooper and his wife, Amy Jeffress (obfuscation anyone?), should be ashamed of themselves. Judge Cooper, like numerous other Crooked Judges on my cases, should be IMPEACHED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN President DONALD J. TRUMP.\u201d<\/p>\n
