\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Curry Barker<\/a>\u2018s Anything But Ghosts<\/a>, his next movie from Blumhouse<\/a>\u2013Atomic Monster<\/a> and Focus Features<\/a>, will also star Superstore and The Mindy Project actor Chris Reinacher<\/a>. Spooky Pictures and Divide\/Conquer are also producers on the pic.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe news comes in the wake of Barker\u2019s current pic in cinemas, Obsession, becoming Focus Features\u2019 highest-grossing movie<\/a> at the domestic box office with more than $111 million. It also has an A- Cinemascore, rare for a horror film.<\/p>\n

\n\tReinacher joins previously announced cast Barker, Aaron Paul, Bryce Dallas Howard, Violet McGraw and Cooper Tomlinson.<\/p>\n

\n\tBlumhouse and Atomic Monster were key in identifying Barker: Upon boarding Anything But Ghosts some time ago, they encouraged Focus to acquire the YouTube genre content creator\u2019s feature directorial debut Obsession out of TIFF Midnight.<\/p>\n

\n\tReinacher is a filmmaker, comedian, writer and digital creator whose scripted and unscripted videos have amassed over 400 million views online. His short films have been screened at Sundance and Cannes. His latest directorial work can be seen on the That\u2019s a Bad Idea YouTube channel in the short film Fly Me to the Earth, a sci-fi comedy he directed, co-wrote, and stars in alongside Barker and Tomlinson.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn television, he served as showrunner for Read the Room, a digital sketch show which has over 100M views online. He has performed as an actor on Your Friends Will Never Believe You, NBC\u2019s Superstore, Fox\u2019s The Mindy Project as well as for Adult Swim, Comedy Central Digital and lead the series Teenage Mountain Lion on Hulu.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs an early adopter to digital content, Reinacher is an original member of Buzzfeed Video, where he produced weekly viral content for the first three years of the company\u2019s growth. His personal YouTube page has nearly 400,000 subscribers, and his podcast Wine & Weed has over 3 million streams and guests like Michael B Jordan, Machine Gun Kelly, Quinta Brunson and Jo Koy.<\/p>\n

\n\tBarker co-wrote Anything But Ghosts with his longtime collaborator Tomlinson; Tomlinson also stars in Obsession. With Barker, he\u2019s part of the viral comedy group That\u2019s a Bad Idea, which has millions of followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe pic is produced by Jason Blum (Blumhouse-Atomic Monster), Roy Lee & Steven Schneider (Spooky Pictures) and Adam Hendricks & Greg Gilreath (Divide\/Conquer) in association with Image Nation and That\u2019s a Bad Idea.
