US President Donald Trump<\/a> faced a harsh critique from CNN<\/a> as the network aired a scathing montage of his remarks on the Epstein files.<\/a><\/p>\n

The breaking news alert read: “Trump calls Epstein files, which his base built up, a “hoax”, followed by a montage featuring Trump and other government officials calling for the release of the Epstein files.<\/a><\/p>\n

In a past interview, when asked if he would declassify the files, Trump responded, “Yeah, I would. ” In another conversation, he declared, “I’d be inclined to do the Epstein files; I have no problem with that,” echoing podcaster Theo Von’s sentiment: “Seriously, we need to release the Epstein list; that is an important thing.”<\/p>\n

Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel, when questioned about why the files hadn’t been released yet, simply stated: “Simple, because of who is in them.”<\/p>\n

He further added: “Put on your big boy pants and let us know who the pedophiles are.”<\/p>\n

United States Attorney General Pam Bondi also previously confirmed on CNN that she would be providing updates on Epstein, stating: “I think tomorrow Jesse, breaking news right now, you are going to see some Epstein information by my office,” and in a separate interview, she added: “It is sitting on my desk right now to review.<\/p>\n

“A truckload of evidence arrived, it is now in the possession of the FBI, it is a new day and a new administration and everything is going to come out to the public.”<\/p>\n

This follows Trump’s social media statement regarding Epstein coverage: “Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker,” in an extensive post on X.<\/p>\n

Vice President JD Vance was reportedly planning to host a gathering at his home, designed to bring together Trump administration officials to address the Jeffrey Epstein controversy, sources revealed to CNN.<\/p>\n

However, the gathering was postponed due to media attention, with Vance refuting claims that any Epstein strategy session had ever been scheduled.<\/p>\n

According to NBC News: “White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche were expected to attend.”<\/p>\n
