Speaking to state television, he said that while American officials publicly talk about negotiations and ceasefires, their actions on the ground often contradict those claims.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir behavior is completely inconsistent with their rhetoric and reflects a deceptive and hostile approach,\u201d Kowsari said.<\/p>\n

He argued that the IRGC\u2019s warning about stronger measures should be taken seriously, adding that past experience has demonstrated that the United States \u201cunderstands only the language of force and power.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The lawmaker also pointed to what he described as recent hostile actions by the United States, including an attack on an oil tanker and damage to an Iranian offshore platform near Qeshm Island. He said such incidents require stronger deterrent responses.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cAlthough the actions taken by Iran\u2019s armed forces in recent days are commendable, a firmer response is needed so that the enemy clearly understands that the only option is to respect Iran\u2019s strength,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Kowsari further argued that Iran has repeatedly demonstrated its resilience in the face of external pressure. He cited the country\u2019s eight-year war with Iraq in the 1980s and what he referred to as the recent \u201c12-day war\u201d as examples of Iran\u2019s ability to withstand challenges and project strength.<\/p>\n

He also voiced support for what he described as the IRGC\u2019s plans for \u201cfundamental and crushing measures,\u201d expressing hope that such decisions would be implemented in practice.<\/p>\n

Turning to diplomacy, Kowsari urged Iran\u2019s negotiating team to remain vigilant and avoid making concessions under pressure.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe other side should not assume it can easily extract concessions from Iran,\u201d he said, pointing to developments in Lebanon as an example of what he characterized as Western inconsistency in dealing with regional issues and Israeli actions.<\/p>\n
