Robert Pattinson\u2019s Batman apparently wasn\u2019t buff enough for some critics.<\/p>\n

The actor starred as Batman\/Bruce Wayne in 2022\u2019s \u201cThe Batman\u201d and said he worked out multiple times a day to achieve his physique.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Everyone was like], \u2018You didn\u2019t work out at all.\u2019 I worked out every f–king day,\u201d Pattinson told GQ<\/a>. \u201cEven after that, I still look like I didn\u2019t work out. I worked out twice a day at, like, three o\u2019clock in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cTwilight\u201d star blames past interviews where he said exercise wasn\u2019t cool for people taking issue with his build.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m like, it\u2019s just because I said it in an interview [that exercise was uncool]. I was trying to sound cool!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDrama\u201d star has been critical of male body standards in Hollywood in the past, noting he felt judged about his abs against his \u201cTwilight\u201d co-star Taylor Lautner.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had never been so worried about that before, but after seeing how much Taylor works out for the movies, I thought, \u2018Well, everybody is really going to judge me now.\u2019 I always tried to think about positions where I could tense the muscles, and suck in my belly,\u201d he told Mexican magazine 15a20 in 2011, via Glamour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pattinson is reprising his superheoric role for \u201cThe Batman\u201d sequel and has installed a home gym to prepare.<\/p>\n

Although he\u2019s apparently not fully up to speed on the filming schedule. \u201cAnd I just heard from the stunt guy the other day. He said, \u2018Ooh, 11 weeks of nights.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Excuse me?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018No one\u2019s even sent me a schedule,’\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n
