Ariana Grande<\/a>\u2019s long-awaited Bay Area takeover has officially begun.<\/p>\n

The pop singer may be kicking off her \u201cEternal Sunshine\u201d tour in Oakland on Saturday, June 6, but she\u2019s showing love to her San Francisco fans across the bay with a pop-up merchandise store.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Located at 71 Powell St., the store is still being set up and appears to be stocked with apparel, albums and other memorabilia neatly displayed on shelves and clothing racks. Items include a cream-colored \u201cEternal Sunshine\u201d tote bag, a \u201cDangerous Woman\u201d 10th anniversary T-shirt and brown caps that read \u201cThe Eternal Sunshine Tour \u201926.\u201d<\/p>\n

The store, scheduled to open at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 4, is free to enter and will remain accessible for the duration of her Oakland Arena stay, which includes concerts on Tuesday-Wednesday, June 9-10.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Grande appears to be hosting pop-up shops in every region that she\u2019s stopping in on the tour, with information about the addresses and hours of operation posted on her official website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The tour marks her first in six years, following the conclusion of her work in Bay Area native Jon M Chu<\/a>\u2019s \u201cWicked<\/a>\u201d films. The singer stars as Glinda, a role that earned her an Oscar nomination, opposite Cynthia Erivo<\/a>\u2019s Elphaba in the two-part adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical.<\/p>\n

She last visited the region in December, alongside Chu and Erivo, for a special screening<\/a> of \u201cWicked: For Good\u201d at the Smith Rafael Film Center. During the subsequent Q&A discussion, moderated by San Francisco filmmaker Chris Columbus<\/a>, the singer opened up about her own traumas and how they informed her portrayal of Glinda.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are moments where my journey has felt adjacent to Glinda\u2019s when it comes to dealing with grief, when it comes to learning about the darker pieces of what comes with your dreams coming true,\u201d Grande explained. \u201cWhat was really useful for me when it came to actually performing and just doing the work was acknowledging those things and throwing them away.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2024, between \u201cWicked\u201d films, Grande released \u201cEternal Sunshine,\u201d for which the tour is named.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

She announced her forthcoming eighth studio album, \u201cPetal,\u201d in April. The record is expected to arrive on July 31, midway through her tour.
