Since then, Anisimova has featured at the Canadian Open<\/a>, where she reached the round of 16 before falling to Elina Svitolina<\/a>. <\/p>\n Ahead of the Cincinnati Open<\/a>, she recalled the aftermath of her Wimbledon final loss and shared how she was able to get over the \u2018guilt\u2019 of it. <\/p>\n Speaking to the Cincinnati press<\/a>, Anisimova<\/a> said: \u201cIt was really special to see how many people were sending me the sweetest messages.<\/p>\n \u201cLots of support from people, which I wasn\u2019t really expecting after the performance I had. <\/p>\n \u201cI felt really bad because I wish I could have put on a better performance, or could have competed harder, especially in a Grand Slam final.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere was definitely that side of guilt immediately after. To see what everyone was saying to me after really helped me get through that.<\/p>\n \u201cIt reminded me of just how far I\u2019ve come and what it actually took to get to the final after those two weeks. It\u2019s not often that you get a lot of positive feedback on social media.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve had a lot of incredible interactions. Everyone who has come up to me has been so sweet and has said the nicest words. I\u2019ve enjoyed it a lot.<\/p>\n \u201cJust being able to interact with people, having conversations and hearing how much they enjoyed watching me means the world to me.
