Lerrin Johnson, a Texas Parks and Wildlife spokesperson, said it had been spotted multiple times in the area before officials were able to capture it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">County Commissioner Manny Ramirez shared a video of the allIgator on X.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It was measured, tagged and relocated to \u201ca protected, more remote location,\u201d Johnson said. The relocation is part of the permitted research at the Fort Worth Nature Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The nature center has been researching alligators native to Fort Worth for the past three years. Part of that research is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.star-telegram.com\/news\/state\/texas\/article311494394.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:capturing, tagging and monitoring;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">capturing, tagging and monitoring<\/a> the animals.
