Heliovaara, who was celebrating his 37th birthday on Thursday, said it was a “pretty good day”.<\/p>\n
“It’s not a bad birthday if you’ve started on Suzanne-Lenglen Court and enjoy playing tennis. That’s what I love the most in life outside of family time,” he added.<\/p>\n
Patten and Heliovaara are chasing a third Grand Slam title together – and their first on clay – after their triumphs at Wimbledon in 2024 and the Australian Open in 2025.<\/p>\n
The duo have already won four ATP Tour titles this season, including their first Masters 1000 title on clay at last month’s Madrid Open.<\/p>\n
