\nThe New Zealand College of Chiropractic will be returning this week, to deliver chiropractic services for the community.

The New Zealand College of Chiropractic senior interns are returning to Rarotonga to provide free spinal health checks and holistic adjustments to the local community.<\/p>\n

The visiting team of final-year interns is scheduled to land Thursday (Friday NZT) with community clinic sessions officially kicking off on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

To ensure easy access for the public, the team will be centrally located once again at Te Atukura Grounds, situated next to the Prime Minister’s Office in Avarua.<\/p>\n

The annual field trip serves as a vital practical component for the Auckland-based college. According to previous Cook Islands News coverage of their trips, these practitioners are in their fifth and final year of intensive study.<\/p>\n

The hands-on deployment in Rarotonga allows them to manage many local cases under the strict monitoring and guidance of travelling clinical mentors.<\/p>\n

During their visit to Rarotonga last year, the team left a lasting impression on the community.<\/p>\n

A local gym regular who trains consistently praised their care, noting how much it helped his physical recovery. “I’m looking forward to revisiting the New Zealand team,” he said.<\/p>\n

The college also announced that they are significantly expanding their presence on the island this year.<\/p>\n
