Multiple agencies were called in to assist with the search.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Authorities say the child was found unresponsive in a water-filled creek near his home just after 1:30 a.m. Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">12 News has reached out to the Mitchell County Sheriff\u2019s Office for an update on the child\u2019s condition, and is awaiting an update.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This is a developing story.
