Summer has started and at KUT we’re looking forward to spending some quality time reading and enjoying Austin’s literary scene. <\/p>\n

To make things a bit more fun, we created a summer reading challenge that is open to anyone. We’ll be playing bingo from now till Aug. 26, and we hope you’ll join us! <\/p>\n

Here’s how it will work. <\/p>\n

Download and print out your bingo card.<\/a> We’ll also have copies available at our other summer events and our front desk at KUT Public Media Studios<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Keep track of the books you read and cross out the prompts you complete. You can only use one book per box on the bingo card. <\/p>\n

If you get one bingo, you’ll get a Field Guide to Austin<\/a> bookmark and sticker. Two bingos will get you that Field Guide swag and a voucher for a scoop of Lick ice cream. <\/p>\n

If you get blackout \u2014 or complete all the prompts \u2014 you’ll also be entered into raffles, including one for a pair of tickets to our next ATXplained<\/a> live show. <\/p>\n

We’ll be sharing staff book recommendations throughout the summer, as well as hosting a book swap in July. At the end of August, we’ll get together for a celebration where you can pick up your prizes and socialize with your fellow bookworms. We’ll have more details on those events soon!<\/p>\n
