Mason Greenwood could provide a financial boost to Manchester United<\/a>, with Fenerbahce claimed to have reached an agreement with the forward. Greenwood<\/a>\u2019s future has been the subject of speculation for some time.<\/p>\n The former United<\/a> man has impressed for Marseille since making the move to France from Old Trafford<\/a> in 2024. In the season just gone, he scored 16 goals and provided seven assists in 32 Ligue 1 appearances.<\/p>\n Greenwood is expected to move on this summer after Marseille missed out on Champions League<\/a> qualification. The club included a substantial 40 per cent sell-on clause<\/a> in the \u00a326 million deal that saw him move to Marseille.<\/p>\n It seems that a move from France to Turkey could be on the cards, with Fenerbahce presidential candidate Hakan Safi announcing that the club have reached an agreement with Greenwood over personal terms.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have signed a four-year agreement with Mason Greenwood,\u201d he said. He has proven himself at the highest level of European football.<\/p>\n \u201cHe has agreed to join Fenerbah\u00e7e during the most valuable and productive years of his career.<\/p>\n “I said I would bring a star player. It\u2019s reported that the French club are looking for a fee of around \u00a347.5 million<\/a> for the 24-year-old.<\/p>\n If the clause sees United get 40 per cent of the full fee, that price would earn United around \u00a319 million.<\/p>\n Speaking about Greenwood\u2019s future, Marseille sporting director Gregory Lorenzi told L\u2019Equipe: “He [Greenwood] is one of the players that we are really thinking about [with regard to] their future. If an opportunity presents itself, naturally, we will think about it.<\/p>\n “But there is the club’s position [and] that of the player.
