A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the Miami Valley until 10 p.m. <\/p>\n

Almost all of the Miami Valley has been upgraded to a level 2 risk for severe thunderstorms on Saturday. <\/p>\n

An unstable airmass will make it possible for storms to become strong to severe this afternoon. <\/p>\n

After some dry time with some sunshine early Saturday afternoon, we\u2019ll build up the instability needed for another round of storms for Saturday afternoon and evening. <\/p>\n

Watch out between now and 10 PM. <\/p>\n

Storms that develop during this timeframe have the potential to turn strong or severe. <\/p>\n

Damaging winds will be the main severe weather hazard. Large hail cannot be ruled out. <\/p>\n

Isolated tornadoes don\u2019t look likely locally. <\/p>\n

There is a chance of an isolated tornado or two occurring to our east. <\/p>\n

Heavy rain and frequent lightning will be possible with any storm that forms on Saturday. <\/p>\n
