Things have not been great for Leroy San\u00e9 since leaving Bayern Munich. He has mostly fallen out of favor, among the German fans. None of his performances with his current club Galatasaray and the German national team have been particularly good. Manager Julian Nagelsmann may continue to favor the winger and call him up year in and year out, but his performances have not been received well.<\/p>\n
Yet again, San\u00e9 becomes subject to criticism. In the friendly against the USMNT, the attacker started, but put up a less than satisfactory performance. Lothas Matth\u00e4us, with Sky Germany<\/a>, addressed his game. However, the Bayern legend was more lenient than usual with his review \u2014 \u201cThe time change, the weather\u2014it\u2019s impossible to get into a rhythm after just three or four days,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n He promptly then got to the crux of the issue \u2014 San\u00e9 was making \u201ctoo many mistakes in the build-up.\u201d<\/p>\n The 30-year-old only had one major chance. He had set up Felix Nmecha to score in the 48th, but the chance was missed. Right after, San\u00e9 took a free kick that went over the goal post. \u201cThat fits his game,\u201d Matth\u00e4us reacted sharply.
