Amid rumors<\/a> about him possibly signing with the Washington Commanders if he’s released, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk posted<\/a> a cryptic video on Instagram. <\/p>\n

While Aiyuk didn’t call any teams out by name, he described a few scenarios that seemingly allude to his current situation. He also wrote in the caption, “IF YOU SCARED JUST SAY DAT!!”<\/p>\n

“This kid, he got this one toy, but he don’t really know how to use it correctly,” he said. “So somebody else about to pick it up and play with it and they’re like ‘Oh yeah, this s–t litty.’ And they’re like ‘Wait, wait, wait, hold on, that’s my toy.'”<\/p>\n

Aiyuk signed a\u00a0four-year, $120 million\u00a0contract with the 49ers ahead of the 2024 campaign before a torn ACL and MCL ended his season just seven games into the campaign. <\/p>\n

After that injury, things went downhill between Aiyuk and the Niners. He missed a handful of rehab sessions last offseason, which led the San Francisco to void nearly $27 million in guaranteed money from his contract. <\/p>\n

By December, Aiyuk was placed on the reserve\/left team list, and general manager John Lynch told reporters<\/a> in January that the receiver had “played his last snap with the Niners.” <\/p>\n
