\n\tAriana Grande<\/a> opened her Eternal Sunshine tour<\/a> Saturday night in Oakland, Calif.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Grammy winner\u2019s tour marks her first tour in seven years. Her last tour ended in December 2019, which supported her Sweetener and Thank U, Next albums. This time, Grande is performing tracks from her 2024 seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, alongside some of her other fan-favorite hits over the years. (See the full setlist below.)<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Sunday morning, Grande took to social media to thank fans for welcoming her back to the stage.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOakland, night one \u2026 \u2661 it feels impossible to find the words at this time \u2026 so for now, just thank you. from the bottom of my heart,\u201d she wrote in an Instagram post. \u201cI love you all more than words can ever possibly say. And I missed you. Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe remaining locations for the Eternal Sunshine tour include Los Angeles, Austin, Brooklyn, Chicago, Boston, Montreal and Sunrise, Fla., in addition to a five-night run in London.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrande\u2019s hiatus from live performing comes as the 32-year-old has shifted to acting, where she\u2019s starred in Jon M. Chu\u2019s Wicked (2024), which earned her an Oscar nomination<\/a> for best supporting actress, as well as last year\u2019s follow-up, Wicked: For Good. Her upcoming projects include Focker In-Law,<\/a> opposite Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, Oh, the Places You\u2019ll Go!\u00a0<\/a>animated feature adaptation with Josh Gad and season 13 of Ryan Murphy\u2019s American Horror Story.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cGod Is a Woman\u201d singer is also set to release her eighth studio album<\/a>,\u00a0Petal, on July 31. <\/p>\n

\n\tBut even though she\u2019s still going to make music<\/a>, she told Amy Poehler on her Good Hang podcast<\/a> in November that she doesn\u2019t expect to tour for a very long time after the Eternal Sunshine tour.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think the last 10 to 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up,\u201d Grande said. \u201cI don\u2019t want to say any definitive things. I do know that I\u2019m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time. It\u2019s going to be beautiful and I\u2019m so grateful that \u2014 I think that\u2019s why I\u2019m doing it because I\u2019m like, \u2018One last hurrah.\u2019 For now.\u201d <\/p>\n
