Facebook<\/p>\n<p>Details around the crash are limited, but Adair was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital, according to a GoFundMe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/support-bryce-adairs-road-to-recovery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">set up to support Adair\u2018s family.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In an emotional moment, Jim Nantz paid tribute to Adair during Saturday\u2019s broadcast of the Memorial Tournament from Dublin, Ohio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBe patient with us for a minute here,\u201d Nantz said on air, having to take a moment to regain his composure. \u201cA huge loss earlier today within our CBS Sports family. Trust me when I tell you that in over 40 years I have never seen our crew of 250 people coming to a broadcast like this one carrying as much grief as they are now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis morning, an incredibly bright, charismatic teammate, 31-year-old Bryce Adair, passed away from injuries suffered Wednesday night in a car accident while here working the Memorial Tournament.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone loved him. Every day Bryce would greet you with a warm smile and a caring, compassionate spirit,\u201d Nantz later said about him. \u201cHe did many things for us. He won an Emmy for our Super Bowl broadcast. He was even training to one day be a steadicam operator.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CBS Sports production assistant Bryce Adair died at 31 <br \/>in a car crash near the Memorial Tournament in Ohio. Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe world was his and he deserved the world. I\u2019m the one who has a chance to tell you how much we loved him. \u2026 I just want to say to his mother, Michelle, thank you for sharing your remarkable son with us. We loved him and he will never be forgotten.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nantz was not alone in his tribute to Adair, with <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/tracywolfson\/status\/2063365598974030033\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">CBS Sports\u2019 Tracy Wolfson <\/a>honoring his memory in a post on X.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bryce Adair was a production assistant for CBS Sports. Facebook<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur CBS family lost a great friend and colleague today,\u201d she wrote. \u201cBryce Adair brought joy to our crew, he was a kind soul and a true gentleman. I will remember him for his infectious smile, his love for the Eagles and music. I will miss our high fives on the sidelines and football talks in the car.
