One of the easiest ways to find your next Prime Video watch is by checking what everyone else is streaming right now. The service’s top 10 movies chart tracks the titles currently generating the most interest among subscribers.

However, just because a movie has slipped into the rankings doesn’t mean it’s worth your time. Prime Video’s latest top 10 is a surprisingly thin selection, with some genuinely baffling entries making the cut. To save you the trouble, I’ve picked out the three films that are actually worth watching.

The recommendations below are based on the Prime Video top 10 as of Monday, June 8, 2026. So, if you’re looking for the standout titles in an otherwise underwhelming chart, here’s my curated list.

“Jack Ryan: Ghost War” is one of Prime Video’s latest originals, and functions as a direct feature-length continuation of the streamer’s popular “Jack Ryan” television series. Unlike the show, which allowed mysteries to unfold slowly across eight-episode arcs, this film operates with an intense real-time narrative style, meaning those who like adrenaline-fueled flicks will most likely enjoy this action-thriller. Plus, both John Krasinski and director Andrew Bernstein have expressed interest in turning this into an ongoing cinematic film series.

Set after the events of the series, “Jack Ryan: Ghost War” finds former CIA analyst Jack Ryan (John Krasinski) pulled back into action when an international covert operation unravels and exposes a dangerous conspiracy. Reuniting with trusted allies James Greer (Wendell Pierce) and Mike November (Michael Kelly), Ryan teams up with MI6 officer Emma Marlowe (Sienna Miller) to investigate a rogue black-ops network operating in the shadows. With lives on the line and time running out, Ryan must stop a deadly threat before it triggers global chaos.

Of course I had to include the latest Best Picture winner on this list. “One Battle After Another” is an intense action-thriller that stands as one of the most bold, critically acclaimed cinematic events of recent years. Written, directed, and co-cinematographed by visionary auteur Paul Thomas Anderson, the film is a loose, hyper-stylized adaptation inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 postmodern novel Vineland. As you probably already know, it completely swept through the 2026 awards season.

Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a washed-up former revolutionary who has been living off the grid for years under an assumed identity with his teenage daughter, Willa (Chase Infiniti). Their quiet life is soon ruined when Bob’s old enemy, Colonel Steven J. Lockjaw (Sean Penn), resurfaces and begins hunting them down due to unresolved ties to Bob’s radical past. Bob is forced back into the world he tried to escape, while Willa becomes increasingly entangled in the consequences of her parents’ former life.

Lastly, we have an epic Western set in the 1850s–1860s American frontier. Directed, co-written and produced by Oscar-winner Kevin Costner, “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1” is the opening entry in a planned four-part saga about the expansion of the American West before and after the Civil War. Costner originally intended to film all four instalments back-to-back, but the underwhelming box office performance of chapter 1 left the rest of the series delayed. If you enjoy westerns, expect a beautifully shot, atmospheric introduction to a world rather than a fully resolved story.

“Horizon: An American Saga” follows multiple interconnected groups of settlers, soldiers, and Indigenous people as new homesteads are established in the San Pedro Valley, including the early formation of a settlement called Horizon. When violence erupts between settlers and Apache warriors, lives are destroyed and survivors are scattered across the territory. Among them is Hayes Ellison (Kevin Costner), a solitary horse trader and gunman who becomes entangled in the chaos after encountering a travelling woman and a boy in danger.
