Madonna has returned to the dance floor in Dolce & Gabbana.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the singer released \u201cConfessions II \u2014 The Film,\u201d a visual project built around the first six tracks of her upcoming album\u00a0\u201cConfessions II.\u201d In the short film directed by David Toro and Solomon Chase, Madonna<\/a> wears curated looks by the Italian fashion house, with whom she has a long relationship.<\/p>\n

The brand chose designs from both archival and recent collections for the project, and was also responsible for dressing the extended cast of the film. Some of the looks worn by Madonna include a rhinestone-embellished top from the brand\u2019s fall 1991 archive collection and a body-skimming dress inspired by a silhouette from the spring 1998 collection, which evokes the imagery of her \u201cRay of Light\u201d era.<\/p>\n

Madonna began her partnership with Dolce & Gabbana<\/a> in the early 1990s, which grew into a recurring creative alliance over the decades. Dolce & Gabbana used Madonna as the face of its spring 2010 campaign shot by Steven Klein, and the label has also dressed her for tours and public appearances.<\/p>\n

\u201cConfessions II \u2014 The Film\u201d had its red carpet premiere on Friday at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, leading up to the release of the sequel album to Madonna\u2019s \u201cConfessions on a Dance Floor\u201d from\u00a02005. The visual presentation features appearances from her daughter Lourdes Leon, Gwendoline Christie, Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sabrina Carpenter and Julia Garner, among others. It also includes four unreleased songs \u2014 \u201cGood for the Soul,\u201d \u201cOne Step Away,\u201d \u201cDanceteria\u201d and \u201cRead My Lips\u201d \u2014 besides the already available singles \u201cI Feel So Free\u201d and \u201cBring Your Love.\u201d<\/p>\n

On June 4, the singer promoted her new project by performing a surprise concert for 50,000 fans in Times Square.<\/p>\n

\u201cConfessions II \u2014 The Film\u201d is now available to watch on Madonna\u2019s YouTube channel. The album \u201cConfessions II\u201d will be available on July 3. The singer is also set to join BTS and Shakira on the first halftime show for the World Cup in New Jersey on July 19.<\/p>\n
