Tennis star Alexander Zverev’s girlfriend Sophia Thomalla is ready to celebrate his 2026 French Open win.<\/p>\n

Alexander \u201cSascha\u201d Zverev finally won his first career Grand Slam title at the 2026 French Open. While Italian Flavio Cobolli pushed the 29-year-old to five sets, Zverev won 6-1, 4-6, 6-4, 6-7, 6-1.<\/p>\n

After finally hoisting the Coupe des Mousquetaires on June 7, he shared an emotional message with the crowd at Roland Garros.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis sport is so special to me in so many ways,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve had the best moment of my life on this court, I\u2019ve had the worst moment of my life on these courts. I was laying in that corner over there four years ago with seven broken ligaments and two fractured bones, I lost a Grand Slam final here two years ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut now, finally, it\u2019s a happy end. I really felt like the crowd was pushing me throughout the entire two weeks and without you guys I definitely would\u2019ve not won the tournament, so thanks you very much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Missing from the crowd in Paris, however, was his girlfriend, Sophia Thomalla<\/a>. While Thomalla kept an extremely low profile throughout the tournament, only sharing subtle messages through their dog Mishka\u2019s Instagram account, she shared exciting news after Zverev won.<\/p>\n

After Zverev clinched the title, Thomalla posted the ATP Tour\u2019s announcement on her Instagram Stories and wrote, \u201cEr hat es!!!\u201d with a series of red heart emojis. Her message in German translates to English, \u201cHe did it!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

She also posted Roland Garros\u2019 championship post with a heart and a gold cup. In the next post, the German \u201cAre You the One?\u201d reality show host announced she\u2019s on her way to France. She shared a selfie<\/a> on a train and wrote, \u201cParis calling!!\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s dog, Mishka, was on the court to celebrate Zverev\u2019s win. Thomalla posted on Mishka\u2019s Instagram Stories a photo of Zverev and wrote, \u201cProud.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thomalla and Zverev celebrated their 5th anniversary on the tennis star\u2019s 29th birthday in April. The model posted a carousel of photos of Zverev asleep with their dog<\/a>, Mischka, and joked, \u201cHappy Birthday my love \u2764\ufe0f Thank you for these 5 THRILLING years \ud83d\ude02\ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffc.\u201d<\/p>\n

While soaking in the glory at Phillipe-Chatrier, Zverev thanks his coach and dad, Alex Zverev Sr.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have my father, I can\u2019t get rid of him. He\u2019s been there for 29 years,\u201d he said. \u201cI have my brother [Mikhail], also 29 years, can\u2019t get rid of him either.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then focused on his team, \u201cWe\u2019ve been through injuries. We\u2019ve been through heartbreak. We\u2019ve been through losses,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019ve been losers at times in the important moments. But at the end of the day, we\u2019re grand slam champions now, and that\u2019s what counts.\u201d<\/p>\n
