Richard Gere revealed he hasn\u2019t yet watched his son Homer\u2019s<\/a> raunchy \u201cEuphoria\u201d sex scene with Sydney Sweeney, while gushing over the young actor\u2019s blossoming career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still need to see his second episode of \u2018Euphoria,’\u201d the \u201cPretty Woman\u201d star told People<\/a> in an interview published on Monday, referring to the Season 3 episode where Homer\u2019s character, Dylan Reid, gets hot and heavy<\/a> with Sweeney, who portrays Cassie Howard.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m proud of him on two levels,\u201d Gere said about the 26-year-old. \u201cHe really kind of preternaturally knows what he\u2019s doing. But he\u2019s also handling it really well.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor, who shares his son with his ex-wife, Carey Lowell, described Homer as a \u201cgood kid\u201d and a \u201creally good young man who kind of gets it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not an easy job. Not everyone can function within it. So I think he can stay,\u201d Gere, 76 said.<\/p>\n

He also raved about his son\u2019s forthcoming Ryan Murphy-produced show \u201cThe Shards\u201d and movie with filmmaker Oliver Stone.<\/p>\n

Gere was referring to the episode where Sweeney and Homer\u2019s characters (seen above) get intimate. HBO Max<\/p>\n

In the Season 3 episode, Sweeney, who portrays Cassie Howard, and Homer, who plays Dylan Reid, break the bed. HBO Max<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I can retire now. I\u2019m passing the torch,\u201d the \u201cJackal\u201d star quipped.<\/p>\n

Homer made his debut on Season 3 of \u201cEuphoria\u201d and starred in two episodes as a Hollywood movie star whom Sweeney\u2019s character uses to gain fame as an OnlyFans model.<\/p>\n

In Homer\u2019s second appearance in the series, he got intimate with Cassie in a bid for the latter to regain her following after impulsively deleting her account.<\/p>\n

During the steamy scene, the duo broke the bed and knocked a painting off the wall.<\/p>\n

After they\u2019re finished, Cassie grabs Dylan\u2019s phone, sharing a photo of them in bed and captions it, \u201cWorld\u2019s greatest f\u2013k @itsjustmecassie.\u201d The following day, the post went viral. <\/p>\n

\u201cEuphoria\u201d was Homer\u2019s big break and his next role is as Robert Mallory in \u201cThe Shards.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before that, he starred in a variety of short films and Khatumu\u2019s \u201cHunting Days\u201d music video in 2024.<\/p>\n

Homer has previously shared the words of wisdom he has received from his dad, telling \u201cEntertainment Tonight\u201d in April that Gere has pushed him to reflect on how he carries himself.<\/p>\n
