MINNEAPOLIS \u2014 The Dallas Wings<\/a> will be without two players for Tuesday\u2019s road game against the Minnesota Lynx.<\/p>\n Awak Kuier<\/a> (right wrist) and Odyssey Sims<\/a> (left ankle) are out, according to the team\u2019s injury report. Li Yueru<\/a> (left ankle) is listed as probable.<\/p>\n Dallas Wings Updates<\/p>\n The designations come two days after Kuier and Yueru were full participants at Sunday\u2019s practice. Kuier, who was inactive for Friday\u2019s 104-96 win over the Los Angeles Sparks<\/a>, practiced Sunday without the brace she had worn on her right wrist in Los Angeles but will not clear in time for Tuesday. <\/p>\n Yueru, also inactive against the Sparks, has trended toward a return.<\/p>\n Sims has not practiced since suffering a left ankle injury in the second quarter Friday, when she was taken off the court in a wheelchair. She is averaging 6.0 points and 2.7 assists in 17.0 minutes this season, while Kuier is averaging 6.6 points and 3.0 rebounds.<\/p>\n Guard Aziaha James<\/a>, who exited the Sparks game with a fourth-quarter leg injury, was not listed on the report and is expected to be available after returning to full practice Sunday.<\/p>\n What\u2019s at Stake Against the Minnesota Lynx<\/p>\n Dallas, 7-3 and winners of four straight, visits a Minnesota team that sits at 9-2 and atop the Western Conference in Commissioner\u2019s Cup play at 3-0. The Wings are 2-0 in Cup games. Minnesota arrives off an 88-68 home win over the Seattle Storm on Saturday.<\/p>\n The Wings are coming off a 104-96 road win over the Sparks in which Arike Ogunbowale<\/a> scored a season-high 30 points and Paige Bueckers<\/a> handed out a career-high 14 assists. A win Tuesday would extend their streak to five, their longest since the 2023 regular season.<\/p>\n It would also break through some history. Minnesota won the first meeting 90-86 on May 14 in Arlington and leads the all-time series 58-21. Dallas has not beaten the Lynx since August 30, 2024, and has not won at Target Center since July 12, 2023.<\/p>\n The game opens a stretch of five games in nine days.
