Yet, Adobe Acrobat is now available on Android Auto.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Available in the latest Adobe Acrobat app update, v26.5.0.45958, there\u2019s now a version of the PDF reader on Android Auto. The new app pops up as a notification on your car\u2019s display and sits in the app drawer alongside any other apps you have installed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s an obvious question here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why?<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adobe Acrobat is a useful app for viewing PDFs, but what purpose could it possibly serve behind the wheel? The answer to that is Acrobat\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/acrobat\/hub\/how-to-read-pdf-aloud.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cRead Aloud\u201d function<\/a>. This can convert most PDFs into an audio stream, letting you listen to the content instead of reading it. And that\u2019s why it might actually be useful behind the wheel. Whether it\u2019s an audio version of a book, a document for work, or something you\u2019re trying to study for class, the ability to quickly pull that up via a dedicated Android Auto app might actually prove useful for at least some users. It certainly aligns with the productivity focus we\u2019ve seen arise on Android Auto in recent years, with Google Meet, for example, <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2026\/06\/04\/google-meet-for-android-auto-begins-rolling-out-widely\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"717016\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">having been added recently<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In our brief testing, this does not work with every PDF file, but you\u2019ll get a typical Android Auto media player when it does
