Lopez recently spoke out against “showmance” claims, clarifying that she is single despite rumors linking her to her co-star.<\/p>\n

As rumors swirl about Jennifer Lopez<\/a> and Brett Goldstein\u2019s off-screen relationship status<\/a>, the co-stars are turning up the heat\u2014and showing off their undeniable chemistry\u2014in their new rom-com, Office Romance<\/a>. In a flirty clip from the new Netflix movie shared to social media on June 7, the \u201cOn the Floor\u201d singer<\/a> risked a potential wardrobe malfunction while adjusting her micro string bikini during a beachside scene with the Ted Lasso actor.<\/p>\n

In the video, Lopez\u2014who plays ambitious airline CEO Jackie Cruz\u2014takes Goldstein\u2019s Daniel Blanchflower to a secluded island for a lowkey beach date, noting she\u2019s picked up a few secret spots while flying millionaires around for decades. Lopez\u2019s character instantly turns on the coquetry, re-tying her loose brown string bikini bottoms as she kneels in the sand.<\/p>\n

The 56-year-old actress then begins vigorously swatting at her butt, joking to Goldstein\u2019s lawyer character, \u201cMy God, I have so much sand in my butt. If you turn me over, you could tell time.\u201d In character, Goldstein tells Lopez she\u2019s \u201cvery strange\u201d before clarifying that her out-of-office persona is different from how she presents herself at work.<\/p>\n

The \u201cLet\u2019s Get Loud\u201d singer has pushed back on rumors that she and Goldstein had a fling<\/a> while filming her latest movie. \u201cThere’s never a time when I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person,\u201d Lopez told Savannah Guthrie during their June 2 Today<\/a> interview. She later clarified they were \u201cnot dating\u201d in real life when the anchor pressed for a more concrete answer.<\/p>\n

The Kiss of the Spider Woman actress also refuted speculation that she and Goldstein were putting on a \u201cshowmance\u201d\u2014a fake romance to promote a film\u2014during a June 3 interview with AP News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you know that we, people, don’t do things like that? Like, just so you know. Like, spoiler alert. That doesn’t happen!\u201d Lopez said. \u201cPeople don’t make believe that we’re having a romance. No, you’re either having a romance or you’re not and I don’t think it’s\u2026 I think it’s kind of hard to hide, to be honest.”<\/p>\n
