But it looks like that may not be the only problem plaguing Google\u2019s smartwatches. A new issue has popped up regarding the Google Play Store. And it seems Samsung\u2019s smartwatches aren\u2019t immune either.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t want to miss the best from Android Authority?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/andauth.co\/AAGooglePreferredSource\" class=\"e_Rm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\"><img class=\"e_Ph\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"google preferred source badge light@2x\"  alt=\"google preferred source badge light@2x\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/google_preferred_source_badge_light@2x.png\"\/><img class=\"e_Ph\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"google preferred source badge dark@2x\"  alt=\"google preferred source badge dark@2x\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/google_preferred_source_badge_dark@2x.png\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A large number of Pixel Watch owners are reporting on Reddit (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/PixelWatch\/comments\/1u0vh1p\/play_store_issue_on_pw4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/PixelWatch\/comments\/1u0uyq6\/pixel_watch_4_google_play_keeps_crashing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">2<\/a>) that the Google Play Store is routinely crashing on their devices. Despite clearing the cache and app data and restarting the smartwatch, the glitch keeps returning. Some of the owners say that the issue popped up after a recent update.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the comments, it appears that the bug is affecting the Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4. However, the problem may not be exclusive to the Pixel Watch. We have also spotted reports from owners of the Galaxy Watch 4, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/GalaxyWatch\/comments\/1u0va5j\/galaxy_watch_8_classic_play_store_crashing_when\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Galaxy Watch 8 Classic<\/a>, and Galaxy Watch 7.<\/p>\n<p>Some users appear to have found workarounds, like removing the latest update to the Play Store on the watch. But it appears many are still experiencing crashes. Android Authority has reached out to Google for comment.
