Jennifer Garner believes Ben Affleck taking a break from dating could be the best move for her ex-husband following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cJen thinks it might actually be good for Ben to take a break from dating for a while. She cares about him a lot and only wants what\u2019s best for him at the end of the day,\u201d a source exclusively told Page Six.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom her perspective, he\u2019s happier than he\u2019s been in a long time and she feels like it could be healthy for him to keep putting that energy into himself, his work and his family instead of jumping into a relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider added that Garner, 54, isn\u2019t trying to influence Affleck\u2019s personal life, however, and would support whatever decision he ultimately makes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat said, she trusts Ben to make his own decisions and supports him either way<\/a>,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

However, a second source told Page Six that the \u201cGone Girl\u201d star, 53, isn\u2019t completely closing the door on romance. <\/p>\n

\u201cBen isn\u2019t ruling out dating and would be open to putting himself out there again,\u201d the source said. \u201cHe has friends who have offered to set him up, but he\u2019s also incredibly busy right now<\/a> and isn\u2019t sure he has the time for a serious, committed relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the insider, the two-time Oscar winner\u2019s main focus \u201cat the moment\u201d is his family and several upcoming projects, and \u201cthat\u2019s where most of his energy is going.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reps for Affleck and Garner did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n

The \u201cBatman\u201d star and the \u201c13 Going on 30\u201d actress \u2014 who were\u00a0married for 10 years, from 2005 until 2015<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0\u00a0coparent their three children<\/a>: Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14.<\/p>\n

The exes recently reunited last month as they took their daughter Violet<\/a> to an urgent care in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The Yale University student hobbled into the medical center with the help of her famous parents, as seen in photos obtained by Page Six.<\/p>\n

The \u201cArgo\u201d star wrapped his arm around Violet as the Emmy nominee helped guide the pair into the facility.<\/p>\n

As previously reported<\/a>, a source told Page Six that the former couple\u00a0had been \u201cspending more time together than ever\u201d since Affleck\u2019s divorce from Lopez, 56.<\/p>\n

Affleck and Jennifer Lopez hosted a Georgia wedding ceremony in August 2022 (which they held after eloping in Las Vegas in July 2022).<\/p>\n

Affleck and Garner \u201creally do have a close bond,\u201d an insider said at the time, adding that both \u201cknow not all exes get along\u201d as well. \u201cThey feel very grateful that they have such an amazing relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lopez and Affleck first began dating in 2002 after working together on the set of \u201cGigli.\u201d They got engaged for the first time in November of that year but called it quits in January 2004. The two rekindled their romance \u2014 and got engaged for a second time \u2014 years later in 2021.<\/p>\n
