It seems former Superman Dean Cain<\/a> doesn\u2019t appreciate the actor starring in the latest entry in the DC Universe film franchise.<\/p>\n

Cain, who played the last son of Krypton on TV in the 90s but whose most recent role was cosplaying as an ICE agent,<\/a>\u00a0joined a gang of internet trolls on Sunday to gripe about a newly released poster for the upcoming \u201cSupergirl\u201d movie.<\/p>\n

After boosting a question about how the character could have pierced ears if her skin is bulletproof, Cain dove into the replies and co-signed a post mocking\u00a0\u201cSupergirl\u201d star Milly Alcock\u2019s<\/a> appearance.<\/p>\n

One of the replies he responded to was an image of a furry proto-human from the 1970s series \u201cLand of the Lost,\u201d shared by an X user<\/a> who asked why Alcock resembled the ape-like character.<\/p>\n

Cain wrote: \u201cDang it… I laughed\u201d along with a nervous emoji.<\/p>\n

People didn\u2019t seem to be laughing with Cain; over 400 X users piled on the actor in the comments, calling him \u201cshallow and cruel,\u201d and likening him to a \u201cTemu Superman.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a nasty ******* bully you\u2019ve turned out to be,\u201d one person wrote. \u201cA **** near 60 year old loser dunking on a girl old enough to be your own kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cain is 59 while Alcock is 26.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s little surprise \u201cSupergirl\u201d has faced conservative backlash. The female-led comic book movie features an actor who\u2019s been outspoken about sexism in Hollywood<\/a>.\u00a0Alcock also sparked a minor controversy while taunting her critics in a Variety interview last month,<\/a>\u00a0when she said it was \u201chilarious\u201d that most of the online hate she receives comes from\u00a0\u201cburner accounts\u201d or pages with bios like, \u201cDad of four, Christian.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re pissing the right kind of people off, you\u2019re doing OK,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
