{"id":695329,"date":"2026-06-10T09:29:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T09:29:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/695329\/"},"modified":"2026-06-10T09:29:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T09:29:09","slug":"toby-fox-shares-new-development-update-on-deltarune-chapter-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/695329\/","title":{"rendered":"Toby Fox Shares New Development Update On Deltarune Chapter 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Deltarune\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/90a8e8ca82632\/deltarune.large.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/deltarune.900x.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" alt=\"Deltarune\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Following the announcement <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/deltarune\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Deltarune<\/a> Chapter 5 would be coming to the Switch and Switch 2 on 24th June 2026, Toby Fox has now shared an update about Deltarune Chapter 6.<\/p>\n<p>In the <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/toby.fangamer.com\/newsletters\/ch5-release-date\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">latest newsletter<\/a>, it&#8217;s noted how this particular chapter is &#8220;developing well&#8221;, and that it&#8217;s actually been easier to make than others. In fact, it&#8217;s going so well that the development on Chapter 7 might be underway before the end of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the update in full, and what exactly the team has been working on in Chapter 6:<\/p>\n<p>Chapter 6 Progress Update<\/p>\n<p>Chapter 6 is developing well.<\/p>\n<p>Cutscenes \/ NPC interactions: Making good progress.<br \/>\nOverworld gameplay: We\u2019ve created all the basic gimmicks of the chapter. (Gimmick = climbing, puzzles, etc.) Now, we need to create a few more rooms utilizing these gimmicks.<br \/>\nNormal enemies &amp; bullets: Mostly complete.<br \/>\nBoss &amp; bullets: We are working on the bullets of the last battle of the chapter.<\/p>\n<p>This Chapter is easier to make than the others, so the development is going quite fast.<\/p>\n<p>This sounds crazy, but it\u2019s not unrealistic that some staff members may start working on Chapter 7 before the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>When more is shared about Deltarune Chapter 6 and 7, we&#8217;ll be sure to provide an update.
