\n\tJohn Leguizamo<\/a> is slamming Dean Cain<\/a> after the actor said he\u2019s going to become an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhat kind of loser volunteers to be an ICE<\/a> officer?\u201d the Moulin Rouge! star said in a Friday Instagram video<\/a>. \u201cWhat a moron. Dean Cain, your pronouns are has\/been.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCain previously starred as Clark Kent\/Superman in the 1990s TV show Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. The actor revealed on Wednesday that he was planning to be \u201csworn in as an ICE agent, ASAP\u201d on Fox News\u2019 Jesse Watters Primetime<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI put out a recruitment video yesterday \u2014 I\u2019m actually a sworn deputy sheriff and a reserve police officer \u2014 I wasn\u2019t part of ICE, but once I put that out there and you put a little blurb on your show, it went crazy,\u201d he said on the show. \u201cSo now I\u2019ve spoken with some officials over at ICE, and I will be sworn in as an ICE agent, ASAP.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCain continued, \u201cWe have a broken immigration system. Congress needs to fix it, but in the interim, President Trump ran on this. He is delivering on this. This is what people voted for. It\u2019s what I voted for, and he\u2019s going to see it through, and I\u2019ll do my part and help make sure it happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe former Superman lead recently criticized James Gunn\u2019s adaptation<\/a> of the iconic superhero, pointing to the director\u2019s comments<\/a> noting that \u201cSuperman is the story of America \u2026 an immigrant that came from other places and populated the country.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHow woke is Hollywood going to make this character?\u201d Cain asked in an interview with TMZ. \u201cHow much is Disney going to change their Snow White? Why are they going to change these characters to exist for the times?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLeguizamo is a longtime advocate for diversity and representation in the entertainment industry. At the 2024 Emmys, the actor celebrated the diverse slate of nominees<\/a> while also calling for additional change.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m one of Hollywood\u2019s DEI hires<\/a>. That\u2019s right, DEI. The \u2018D\u2019 is for diligence, the \u2018E\u2019 is for excellence, the \u2018I\u2019 is for imagination,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd everyone in this room tonight has dedicated their lives to diligence, excellence and imagination, so we are all DEI hires. What a beautiful diverse group this is tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor later added, \u201cFor years I didn\u2019t complain about the limited roles my people were offered\u2026 Turns out not complaining doesn\u2019t change anything. So for the past few years, I\u2019ve been complaining.\u201d<\/p>\n
