Sex Lives with College Girls was very loosely based on my time at Dartmouth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tStarring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Never Have I Ever ran for four seasons on Netflix from 2020 to 2023, about a first-generation Indian-American teenage girl trying to fit in at school following a traumatic year for her family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn Sex Lives of College Girls, which had three seasons on HBO Max from 2021 to 2025, Amrit Kaur plays aspiring comedy writer Bela, exploring her newfound freedom with her Essex Colleger roommates, played by Rene\u00e9 Rapp, Pauline Chalamet and Alyah Chanelle Scott.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"c-lazy-image__img lrv-u-background-color-grey-lightest lrv-u-width-100p lrv-u-display-block lrv-u-height-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/wp-content\/themes\/pmc-deadline-2019\/assets\/public\/lazyload-fallback.jpg\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/179453_0590_V1.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-lazy- data-lazy- height=\"683\" width=\"1024\" decoding=\"async\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tAvantika, Nicholas Duvernay, Will Angus and Ella Hunt in \u2018Not Suitable for Work\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tKaling explained that show was less autobiographical. \u201cNot that much sex happening there,\u201d she recalled of yer college years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tNot Suitable for Work takes inspiration from her \u201cambitious\u201d early 20s in New York City. \u201cI just wanted to hurry up to the time in my life when I was successful,\u201d said Kaling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe Hulu series stars Avantika Vandanapu, Ella Hunt, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay and Will Angus as a group of 20-somethings living across the hall from each other in New York City, where they strive to make it big in their respective fields.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tKaling noted that she didn\u2019t intend on the shows to form a trilogy. \u201cThat\u2019s just the pretentious way that I like to frame my career now,\u201d she joked.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"We\u2019ve officially reached the final phase of television\u2019s MCU (Mindy Comedic Universe), according to Mindy Kaling.
