Caroline Kennedy and husband Ed Schlossberg have upended their lives to be there for their late daughter Tatiana Schlossberg\u2019s widower and children.<\/p>\n
Kennedy and Ed\u2019s son, Jack, told People on Thursday<\/a> that the couple is \u201cplaying the role of new parents right now\u201d after moving in with Tatiana\u2019s husband, Dr. George Moran, and their two kids, son Edwin, 4, and daughter Josephine, 2.<\/p>\n Tatiana\u00a0died in December 2025<\/a>\u00a0at age 35 after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia.<\/a><\/p>\n The journalist tied the knot with Moran, a urologist, in 2017 after meeting at Yale University.<\/p>\n Jack Schlossberg (pictured here in 2023 with his mother) revealed his parents, Caroline Kennedy and Ed Schlossberg have moved in with his late sister Tatiana\u2019s widower, Dr. George Moran. MediaNews Group via Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cThey live with my niece and nephew and take care of them every single day,\u201d Jack, 33, continued. \u201cThey\u2019re really taking everything in stride, but really taking care of the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n Jack explained that \u201cmost people\u201d don\u2019t under that Kennedy and Ed \u201care really acting as new parents right now, and they\u2019re all living in the same apartment.\u201d<\/p>\n Along with Tatiana and Jack, Kennedy, 68, and Ed, 80, are also parents to daughter Rose, 37.<\/p>\n Jack told the outlet that his niece and nephew make him \u201claugh\u201d his \u201chead off just like\u201d his late sister did. <\/p>\n In December, Tatiana\u2019s loved ones announced her heartbreaking passing.<\/p>\n \u201cThey live with my niece and nephew and take care of them every single day,\u201d Jack explained about his mom (pictured here with Tatiana in 2011) and dad. \u201cThey\u2019re really taking everything in stride, but really taking care of the kids.\u201d Penske Media via Getty Images<\/p>\n The late journalist (pictured here in 2019), who tied the knot with her husband in 2017, died at age 35 in December after a battle with leukemia. I was actually one of the healthiest people I knew.\u201d<\/p>\n In the essay, Tatiana praised her partner for doing everything for her \u201cthat he possibly could.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe talked to all the doctors and insurance people that I didn\u2019t want to talk to; he slept on the floor of the hospital,\u201d she penned.<\/p>\n Reflecting on her time with her children, Tatiana added, \u201cMy son might have a few memories, but he\u2019ll probably start confusing them with pictures he sees or stories he hears.\u201d<\/p>\n Tatiana penned about her kids (pictured here with Kennedy in January), \u201cMy son might have a few memories, but he\u2019ll probably start confusing them with pictures he sees or stories he hears,\u201d adding that she doesn\u2019t know what her daughter will remember. Instagram\/@jackuno<\/p>\n As for her daughter, she said, \u201cI don\u2019t know who, really, she thinks I am, and whether she will feel or remember, when I am gone, that I am her mother.\u201d<\/p>\n Tatiana also touched on her family rallying around her during the difficult time.<\/p>\n She wrote that her parents, Jack, and\u00a0Rose were \u201craising\u201d her children while she dealt with treatments.<\/p>\n Jack reacted to his sister\u2019s essay\u00a0<\/a>on Instagram one day later, writing, above two shots of the road and sky: \u201cLife is short \u2014 let it rip.\u201d<\/p>\n In May, Caroline (pictured here at the time) addressed her daughter\u2019s passing for the first time.
