\n\tAs Jason Momoa<\/a> makes his DC onscreen return with a new role in Supergirl<\/a>, he recently noted what it would take for Lobo<\/a> to go solo in his own movie.<\/p>\n

\n\tRevealing that he\u2019s had discussions with DC Studios<\/a> bosses James Gunn<\/a> and Peter Safran<\/a> about the possibility of an R-rated Lobo movie, Momoa insisted he\u2019s \u201cnot doing it\u201d if the offshoot is PG-13.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s all I want, and I promise \u2014 I\u2019m just going to put this out there right now \u2014 I do not have any interest in making a Lobo PG-13 movie,\u201d Momoa told Collider<\/a>. \u201cSo, will [Lobo] be a part of some other movies? If they want me, I\u2019ll be there. But if I make a solo movie, I\u2019m not doing it unless it\u2019s rated R.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPremiering June 26 in theaters and Imax, Supergirl sees Milly Alcock reprise her role as the titular superhero alter ego, Kara Zor-El, who celebrates her 23rd birthday while traveling across the galaxy with her dog Krypto.<\/p>\n

\n\tBased on Tom King\u2019s 2022 comic book series Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which Bilquis Evely illustrated, Ana Nogueira adapted the comic book for the big screen. In the comic, Supergirl and young alien girl Knolle hunt down Krem of the Yellow Hill after he kills Knolle\u2019s father in cold blood.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
