June 12 (UPI) — A Louisiana real estate agent on her way to check on a property listing captured a photo of a highly unusual jaywalker: a massive African eland antelope.<\/p>\n
Tina McKnight Rist said she was driving in<\/a> Plain Dealing when she spotted the unexpected creature near a wandering herd of cows.<\/p>\n The animal, which Rist initially thought might be a Brahma bull, was identified as an African eland, an animal that can grow to up to 1,100 pounds.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n “He stepped out and started walking across the road and I stopped and I was looking at him. And he didn’t act like he was scared of me at all. He was more docile and more like confused, like, you know, what am I supposed to do? Where am I supposed to go?
