\n\tOnce frequent collaborators, Seth Rogen<\/a> doesn\u2019t see an onscreen reunion with James Franco<\/a> in his future. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe 2x Golden Globe winner recently said he hasn\u2019t spoken to Franco \u201cin a long time\u201d and has \u201cno plans\u201d to work with the actor, who has been mounting an onscreen comeback<\/a> after he was accused of sexual misconduct<\/a> by multiple women in 2018.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m trying to think how much I want to personally share about this,\u201d he prefaced to The New York Times<\/a>. \u201cI honestly think the nuance of it is too personal for me to get into right now. It is a very personal thing. There\u2019s the public-facing side of it, which I\u2019ve spoken about, and I have the same stance publicly that I\u2019ve had, and I think the proof is in the pudding \u2014 I have not worked with him in years.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRogen continued, \u201cBut the personal side of it is just so nuanced, and it involves people that I don\u2019t know if I should be dragging into this. I don\u2019t know what I would benefit from getting deeply into it. Nothing has changed since the last time I talked about all this, and I haven\u2019t worked with him in a really long time and I have no plans to.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter making their onscreen debuts together in NBC\u2019s Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000), Rogen and Franco went on to star alongside each other in films like Pineapple Express (2008), This Is the End (2013), The Interview (2014) and The Disaster Artist (2017).<\/p>\n

\n\tFranco previously said his and Rogen\u2019s friendship was seemingly \u201cover\u201d<\/a> after they hadn\u2019t spoken in a while. \u201cNo. I haven\u2019t talked to Seth. I love Seth, we had 20 great years together, but I guess it\u2019s over. And not for lack of trying. I\u2019ve told him how much he\u2019s meant to me,\u201d he told Variety in 2024.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2018, multiple women accused Franco of inappropriate sexual behavior<\/a>. More accusations would become public, including one that he eventually settled, where the actor was accused of intimidating students<\/a> into gratuitous and exploitative sexual situations.<\/p>\n

\n\tFranco teased last month at Cannes that he\u2019s appearing in a \u201cbig studio movie<\/a>,\u201d his first in nearly a decade.
