JAG’s Catherine Bell recently got starstruck when she met X-Files’ David Duchovny.<\/a><\/p>\n

The actress took to Instagram to share a selfie that she took with the fellow actor, as she admitted that she was nervous to strike up a conversation with him.<\/p>\n

She revealed online: “Fan girl moment!!! Got up the nerve to go say hi and ask for a picture and he was so nice!”<\/p>\n

Things not only went well for Catherine, but the interaction turned out better than expected.<\/p>\n

Catherine added: “[The] two of us had one of the deepest conversations about life and kids and relationships in 30 minutes. My new bestie! Haha. These conventions are the best!”<\/p>\n

The entertainer continued: “Connecting with the fans who are why we’re even here in the first place, reconnecting with actors I haven’t seen in ages, and then meeting new friends!\u00a0#grateful<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Fans loved the wholesome meeting between the two and they flocked to the comments.<\/p>\n

A second follower added: “Oh my gosh! What a crossover! This photo has blown my mind. My two favorite shows together. I’m loving this moment.”<\/p>\n

Catherine’s career<\/p>\n

Catherine didn’t go into acting as a young child, or even as a teen like most actors do. Instead, she attended UCLA and initially planned on going into research or medicine.<\/p>\n

She booked a modeling gig in Japan and that led her to not only switch career lanes, but to drop out of college and pursue acting during her sophomore year.<\/p>\n

Upon her return to the United States, Catherine studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. She made her TV acting debut with one line in the sitcom Sugar and Spice.<\/p>\n

She was the star of JAG (Getty Images)<\/p>\n

Believe it or not, she also served as Isabella Rossellini<\/a>‘s body double in Death Becomes Her\u00a0in 1992.<\/p>\n

A year later, she got the lead role in Men of War. In 1995, she got a small part in JAG, however, she ended up getting the role of Sarah MacKenzie later on, and was featured in the popular series until 2005.<\/p>\n

Two years later, she got the lead part in Army Wives\u00a0and she’s also been the face of The Good Witch franchise on Hallmark.<\/p>\n

In 2019, Catherine’s role in JAG\u00a0was reprised on\u00a0NCIS: Los Angeles, which was a treat for her long-time fans. In 2022, the actress starred in\u00a0Jailbreak Lovers.<\/p>\n
