A former Buckeye linebacker has now decided to voice his opinion on Underwood as TTUN’s quarterback. Steele Chambers played both running back and linebacker for the Buckeyes. He knows what a good quarterback looks like. He dropped a truth bomb on Underwood and TTUN recently.<\/p>\n

While appearing on the Bobby Carpenter Show<\/a>, Chambers gave his thoughts on Underwood as a quarterback.<\/p>\n “You’ve got all the evidence from games last year where he didn’t perform. “You’ve got Michigan fans that were cannibalizing him right after the spring game, before Eric Weddle ever brought these comments up, and now you’ve got a legitimate Hall of Famer player really confirming all that stuff that Michigan fans were talking about. It’s not looking good for him, but whatever. Buckeyes.”<\/p>\n Obviously, Chambers is a biased observer when talking about this. He will always talk trash about Michigan when given the opportunity. However, he is right. TTUN fans were worried about Underwood’s development after he had a poor performance at the spring game.<\/p>\n The Ohio State Buckeyes did a good job of forcing him to beat them last November. It’s something he clearly was not able to do. Ohio State could just let him drop back and try to throw, because they knew it wouldn’t hurt them. It doesn’t look like he is getting much better in the offseason, either.<\/p>\n Bryce Underwood shouldn’t have chased the money<\/p>\n Before Underwood decided to flip his commitment from LSU to TTUN, Underwood was asked why he didn’t pick Michigan, despite being from the state. Underwood went on to say that Michigan doesn’t develop quarterbacks. Then, TTUN offered him a boatload of money, and he changed his tune.<\/p>\n It’s pretty clear that he made the wrong decision picking the Wolverines. Had he stayed with the Tigers, he could have gotten some better coaching. TTUN hasn’t developed a good quarterback, really, ever in their history. Tom Brady was a sixth-round pick, so it’s not like Michigan helped him out.<\/p>\n Had Underwood not chased the money, he might have been able to have a better freshman season. Instead, he has to face the Buckeyes every year. If last year is any indication of how things are going to be, Ohio State is going to keep swallowing him up every time they face off.<\/p>\n Ohio State quarterback Tavien St. Clair showed some promise in the spring game<\/a> that he could be the best quarterback from the 2025 recruiting class.<\/p>\n
