Laredo residents are invited to showcase their favorite travel memories through photography as Travel Social Club launches a contest that will culminate in a gallery exhibition during July’s CaminARTE art walk.<\/p>\n
Participants have until June 26 to submit their entries.<\/p>\n
Printed photographs may be dropped off at Dosis Coffee, 7220A Bob Bullock Loop, Suite 105, from noon-2 p.m., or at Encuentros Cafe, 2715 E. Del Mar Blvd., Suite A8, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
Selected photographs will be displayed during an exhibit opening July 3 at Casa Ortiz.<\/p>\n
According to contest organizers, entries may be submitted in the following categories:<\/p>\n
Landscapes and Architecture<\/p>\n
Participants may submit up to five printed photographs in sizes 6×8, 8×10 or 11×14. Photos may be framed or unframed.<\/p>\n
Each submission must include the photographer’s first and last name, the destination shown in the image and a one-line description attached to the back of the print.<\/p>\n
Contest rules prohibit the use of artificial intelligence-generated images. Photographs must be the entrant’s original work and may not contain nudity, drug use or images of minors without consent.<\/p>\n
