She averaged 11.3 points and 5.7 assists in three games with the Fire before the team waived her on May 21.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to add Sug Sutton to our roster,\u201d Wings General Manager Curt Miller said, according to a team press release. \u201cSug is an experienced point guard in the WNBA, starting 43 games during the 2025 season. She plays with great pace and adds a quality defender on the perimeter. We\u2019re happy to welcome Sug back to the state of Texas.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Before the Mystics drafted Sutton with the 36th overall pick in the 2020 WNBA draft, she played four seasons collegiately at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/texas-longhorns\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Texas<\/a>.
