But most importantly, I made sure my family and I are taken care of.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What to Watch For<\/p>\n<p>In 2028, Brunson will be eligible to sign a new five-year contract, which could be worth up to $417.8 million, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/5623693\/2024\/07\/08\/jalen-brunson-knicks-contract-extension\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-ga-track=\"ExternalLink:https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/5623693\/2024\/07\/08\/jalen-brunson-knicks-contract-extension\/\" aria-label=\"The Athletic\">The Athletic<\/a> reported in 2024.
