Las Vegas Aces star center A\u2019ja Wilson will be the newest champion to appear on the cover of the Wheaties cereal brand, the General Mills company announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing on the cover of a Wheaties box is one of those things you grow up dreaming about,\u201d Wilson said. \u201cFor me, this is about showing every little girl what\u2019s possible when you dream big.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m proud of the work, proud of the journey, and proud to partner with a brand that celebrates champions who keep pushing the game forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
For more than 100 years, the Wheaties brand has featured athletes on the well-known orange container, totaling over 850 names across multiple eras.<\/p>\n
MLB hall of famer Lou Gehrig was the first-ever presence on the packaging in 1934, while others have had multiple appearances, including Michael Jordan, who holds the record with 18, Michael Phelps and Aaron Rodgers.<\/p>\n

Wilson has racked up accolades throughout her eight-year career, including being the No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft, the Kia WNBA Rookie of the Year in 2018, and a three-time WNBA champion.<\/p>\n
