\n\tJustin Bieber<\/a>\u2018s former manager Scooter Braun<\/a> has publicly shared his thoughts<\/a> on the singer\u2019s new album<\/a> Swag just one day after its release.<\/p>\n

\n\tBraun, whose split from Bieber drew headlines when first revealed (Braun retired from music<\/a> management in June 2024), decided to offer his thoughts on Swag to the mix, by writing on his Instagram Story on Saturday, \u201cBeen having a beautiful start to the weekend and been getting a lot of texts about how I feel about Justin\u2019s new album.. so I will just leave this here.. This is without a doubt, the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date. It\u2019s beautiful, raw, and truly him. And that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued, \u201cI\u2019ve had the privilege of witnessing his growth for almost two decades. Along every journey, there comes a time when an artist fully steps into their own \u2014 and that\u2019s what he\u2019s done here. He\u2019s poured his soul into this project, and you can feel it in every single run.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBraun also noted that \u201cDaisies\u201d is his favorite track on the record, and that Bieber\u2019s tone is the \u201cbest in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Friday, Bieber dropped the 21-track Swag<\/a>, his seventh studio album and first in four years since 2021\u2019s Justice. The project, a blend of genres and subject matters, delves into everything from the singer\u2019s relationship with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and the paparazzi to mental health issues and colloquially \u201cStanding on Business,\u201d as one song is titled, over pop, R&B, soul, hip-hop and gospel melodies. The rollout also not shying away from the artist\u2019s latest meme-able act, with one billboard on Sunset Blvd<\/a> reading \u201cIt\u2019s Not Clocking to You\u201d in reference to the words Bieber recited during his viral standoff with photogs outside Malibu\u2019s Soho Beach House last month.<\/p>\n

\n\tGenerally well-received, Swag has been praised by listeners as \u201cmature<\/a>\u201d and \u201cauthentic<\/a>,\u201d with one fan account calling the album his \u201cdeclaration of independence.\u201d Bieber\u2019s label, Def Jam, announced on Saturday that the album had reached the top spot on both the global and U.S. Apple Music and Spotify album charts.<\/p>\n

Swag isn\u2019t just an album \u2014 it\u2019s Justin Bieber talking to his wife, his son, his real fans, and most of all, to himself. <\/p>\n

\n\tBraun discovered the now 31-year-old Canadian singer via YouTube in 2008 when Bieber was just 13 years old, and soon launched him into pop superstardom. After 15 years of working together, the pair\u2019s relationship began to sour <\/a>following\u00a0the financial fallout from Bieber\u2019s failed Justice world tour in 2022. Earlier this month, it was announced that Braun, who built his management business working with additional acts such as Ariana Grande, J Balvin and Demi Lovato,\u00a0is transitioning out of his role as CEO of\u00a0HYBE America<\/a>\u00a0to an advisory position in which he will join the Board of the Directors of the South Korean entertainment conglomerate\u00a0HYBE<\/a>, serving as a director and a senior adviser to chairman Bang Si-Hyuk.<\/p>\n
