Several major races, including the Republican gubernatorial and U.S. Senate elections, were back on the ballot.<\/p>\n

The latest reaction from the candidates, on Channel 2 Action News This Morning starting at 4:30 a.m.<\/p>\n [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks<\/a>]<\/p>\n LIVE UPDATES:<\/p>\n 11:00 p.m.<\/p>\n Fulton County Commissioner Mo Ivory appears to have won the Democratic runoff for Fulton County Commission Chair over longtime Chairman Robb Pitts, according to results from the Fulton County Board of Elections<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ivory will now face Republican nominee Eric Tatum in the general election.<\/p>\n 10:30 p.m.<\/p>\n Incumbent State School Superintendent Richard Woods has narrowly clinched the Republican nomination to keep his position, according to results from the Secretary of State\u2019s office<\/a>.<\/p>\n 10:06 p.m.<\/p>\n Amanda Hollowell has won the Democratic nomination for Georgia\u2019s 1st Congressional District, the Associated Press projects.<\/p>\n She will face Republican Jim Kingston in the November general election.<\/p>\n 9:51 p.m.<\/p>\n State Sen. Greg Dolezal has won the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor, the Associated Press projects.<\/p>\n He will face State Sen. Josh McLaurin, who advanced earlier in the evening, in the November general election.<\/p>\n 9:47 p.m.<\/p>\n Rick Jackson has won the Republican nomination for governor, the Associated Press projects.<\/p>\n He will face off with former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms in November\u2019s general election.<\/p>\n 9:09 p.m.<\/p>\n State Sen. Josh McLaurin has won the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor, the Associated Press projects.<\/p>\n His opponent has not yet been determined. The runoff between Republicans Greg Dolezal and John Kennedy has not yet been called.<\/p>\n 8:57 p.m.<\/p>\n Ceretta Smith has won the Democratic nomination for Georgia\u2019s 12th Congressional District, the Associated Press projects.<\/p>\n She will face incumbent Republican Rep. Rick Allen in November\u2019s general election.<\/p>\n 8:40 p.m.<\/p>\n Rep. Mike Collins has won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Georgia over Derek Dooley. <\/p>\n Collins has represented Georgia\u2019s 10th Congressional district since 2023, which is made up of a large portion of east Georgia between Atlanta and Augusta, including Athens, Jackson and Winder.<\/p>\n He will face incumbent U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff in November. <\/p>\n 8:20 p.m.<\/p>\n John Cowan has won the Republican nomination for Georgia\u2019s 7th Congressional District, the Associated Press projects.<\/p>\n He will face Democrat Chris Harden in the November general election.<\/p>\n 8:09 p.m.<\/p>\n Penny Brown Reynolds<\/a> has won the Democratic nomination for Secretary of State, the Associated Press projects.<\/p>\n She will face Republican Tim Fleming, who advanced earlier this evening, in November\u2019s general election<\/a>.<\/p>\n 8:07 p.m.<\/p>\n Tony Kozycki has won the Democratic nomination for Georgia\u2019s 7th Congressional District, the Associated Press projects.<\/p>\n He will face incumbent Republican Rep.
